Tonight one our prize aikido students had his final class and a farewell dinner before he left for college in New York. We went to Monsoon, which is the best pan-Asian restaurant in the area, a good mix of Vietnamese and Chinese that actually reminds me of Chinatown in New York.
Buzzed off good food and wine, a table full of aikidoists said farewell to one of their most promising members after six years of dedicated work. Have fun in the big city, Ridge!
