I dislike shopping for clothing. True to minimalist form, every purchase is a necessary one, and I even try to make sure everything works with everything else. Shoes are the worst, since I wear those every day. Worn down to the toes --since I sneak around a lot-- they soak up the ample Seattle rain. Here's an old haiku, mostly misremembered.
My left sock is wet!
There is a hole in my shoe;
My foot is cranky.
Now I just get them resoled because I can't bear to part with them. My current standby Adidas, of unknown style, have already been fixed two or three times.
Uncharacteristically, I recently got Pumas that I know won't last very long, but are very comfortable ninja shoes. I was originally looking for Uma's yellow Asics, which seem to be the Onitsuka Tiger but yellow and with a nice "FuckU" sole. Instead I went for something Chris describes as "appropriate for a utopian future and/or cult."

Hopefully rotating them will help, but I won't be able to get nearly as many as Souris without getting on a comp list!
